I thought I'd give it a shot because I was seeing it getting review bombed and I wanted to see if it really was that bad that people would go out of their way to hate on it. It is that bad. I EXTREMELY am confused with the casting choices, and the direction the story goes in, since there was ample room to make adjustments if you wanted to, to the original movie and then you'd have something different and fresh (if that's what you wanted). All in all, I'd say please don't waste your time, watch the original, or read a book; heck just stand in the shower and contemplate life for 2 hours straight, that would be more entertaining and productive for your time than watch this.
