What a terrible movie. Awful pacing, dialogue is sloppy and pretends to be deep. Andrew Dominic is a psycopath and clearly gets off on exploiting this woman and her image.
All respect I had for Ana De Armas is gone. Simply Terrible. I hope Ana doesn't get nominated or awarded anything, it would just add more disrespect to this dumpster fire of a movie. Yes, she could cry and scream but that doesn't mean anything when she's just as guilty as the driector for the message this movie sends. She read the script and yet STILL CHOSE to portray Marilyn in this movie, knowing what it was going to do Marilyn's already oversexualized and dehumanized image. So yes, I have no respect for her anymore. Genuinely dissapointed.
To go through the trouble of making a movie only to reduce Monroe, a talented, kind, ambitious woman, to just her trauma?! Are you kidding me!? If you hate her so much why spend the time, the money and the energy writing, filming, and editing this? Its mindblowing. I cant believe it ever got made. She was so much more than that.
