After playing Odyssey and Origins, I thought Ubisoft had nothing more to offer to beat the previous two major successes. I always thought that Valhalla would be a major failure, but after playing it, it turned out to be much worse than I expected. Valhalla is just mediocre on all levels and you get that feeling in less than 5 minutes of game play. 1- generic scarred and burnt male/female version of Eivor. You cannot get connected with the character. Very dull and mechanical, not as alive and vibrant as kassandra or Bayek 2- bad acting. Actors were probably only asked to sound nasty and annoying. I found both male and female actors equally intolerable 3- Raven? What raven? The most useless feature of the game 4- you start in Norway with a blank canvas of a map that has nothing on it. After five minutes you go to England where you find yourself in a vast map with more nothing on it. Just replace snow with green. I can keep going forever about this game but I have wasted enough time pushing myself to keep playing. 40 hours in and I can’t push myself any further. First game I do not finish and do not want to. Very boring and mediocre.
