Fast paced clear clean writing that pulls you in immediately to a gut wrenching sniper -on- the- roof scenario. A police (FBI) procedural that reminds me of Michael Connelly in the believable characters doing realistically described jobs - crack FBI agent, top knotch newspaper reporter and a smart patient opponent that believes his mission is to remove corrupted physicians who bury their Hippocratic Oath daily. The experienced hunter knows the lay of the land, is steps ahead of a massive search for him from all of Wisconsin’s law enforcement. Author Kluesner knows hunting in Wisconsin, small town people and creates stories about the impact of a Christmas sermon within the chase that actually moved me to tears. I didn’t see it coming. It was refreshing to read the opposing opinions presently honestly with a respectful voice to all viewpoints.
