This movie is straight up racist towards white people. The producers tried to compare the holocaust to slavery. There were many “you people” moments by the black family in the movie. At the end of the day this movie perpetuates racial discrimination instead of seeking to eliminate it. For example one line at the wedding was “girl we happy for you marrying this white man, if she like it we like it too”. Imagine how racist a statement it would be if there was a white person that said “boy we happy for you marrying this black girl”. This speaks volumes about the producers and their goals. Maybe if there weren’t so many double standards in the movie it would actually be good.
