I was reading the negative comments, and all they whine about is he's old and I'm offended, so let's cancel Eminem. You've got to be kidding me, if you posted any of those comments you obviously missed the point of the album, and should stick to your brainless Yeat and SixNine music. But if you appreciate quality in your music past brainless catchy tunes, this album might be more for you.
Across the album, he brings his top notch lyricism and A-grade production that make for some dope bangers and emotional introspective tracks. In a culture that's been blending more and more together in the last decade, it's a refreshing experience. Not to mention his intricate flow patterns, simple, but still infectious hooks, it's easily a 5 star album of the year winner.
And the AI he uses to bring back his old voice? Shit's good. And it really makes Guilty Conscience 2, which doesn't have a hook, interesting and engaging throughout, by switching out Marshal and Slim as they butt heads.
I have virtually nothing negative to say about this album, past that perhaps it would've been better if he'd really let loose old Slim, but, he's older now, times have changed, and I respect his evolution as an artist. And I didn't even mention that bro's 52, 51 at the time of the album, and he's still one of the best if not the best.
This album is deep, but you can still listen to it just at face value which makes it all the more of a masterpiece. If you're hyper sensitive and are going to have your feelings hurt, this album is not for you, I'm Gen Z, and I made it through without crying, grow a pair. Well, that's pretty much everything, in the top 3 Em albums, Em, you're the GOAT, keep givin' 'm hell!
