If you're looking for a 2 hour CGI superhero film to keep the kids entertained, then you could do worse than this. Aquaman tries to stop Black Manta from using the power of an ancient trident to destroy Atlantis and the world, and some other stuff happens too. Jason Momoa seems to be having a lot of fun playing Aquaman, and so he does most of the heavy lifting for the film. When he's not around things are a bit dire, but it's enjoyable enough CGI slop. Like a McDonald's, you probably won't think much about it after you've seen it, but while you're watching you'll probably enjoy it at least a bit.
