I don't make a habit of writing reviews of things I watch but after finishing One Day I felt the need to share with others who may wish to watch what I thought.
Though I've never read the book, the storyline was perfectly put together from beginning to end detailing the journey people make not just together in life but also their personal journeys.
It's honestly an emotional rollercoaster of happiness, dread, excitement and sadness and the actors are so well connected it truly makes you believe it's happening.
Throughout the series I was talking to the TV in anticipation of what was going to happen just to see it not and without spoiling it for others it's a joy to see happiness prevail albeit for a short time.
There's not many series I can truthfully say keep me hooked but I enjoyed every episode of this. The cinematography, music, acting and the whole ensemble is perfect.
The story itself I think will connect with many on their own personal journeys and I'm quite gutted it's now ended.
