This is based on a true incident that has happened in Russia.It was a great mystery.The suspense is kept till the end.Loved Dana Evens.The other characters were written well too.Probably the romance was not well highlighted as much . Overall a great read.

This novel justifies it's title . It is a tale on two widows and how they get involved in case that is entangled with each other.Without giving out too many spoilers the book was a great read.Even though the suspense was not really a suspense it was a known fact since the start as to who was the murderer. The character description was on point and there was not too much dragging with respect to the descriptions. It also showed a good bond between the leads. Great story on the whole.

As much as I loved this story I also was not satisfied with its ending. It starts off really well with the three lives of different women.Then goes on to the main plot and the twists . There are many shocking revelations throughout the entire journey of Ashley. But the reason for all this to happen has no punishment.It was a big disappointment. He/she deserved the treatment of a criminal. Nonetheless a good read.

This book was the best Sydney Sheldon book that I have read.There is mystery,drama,women empowerment,moral. Loved the main character the most.WOW,how well she was written. I loved every character in this revenge drama. This book actually showas us that even if we are born and raised up to be good people, the society can drag us into becoming something that we would never imagine ourselves to become. We have seen most of the biggest villains arise from humble backgrounds, just that the society never accepts them as a part of the due to which they are forced to do things that do not imagine doing at all.

The book was good, it had an amazing storyline , the plot was really gripping. There were times it was really shocking.The suspense was kept till the end.There were a few flaws like the character description went on too long and the suspense was revealed only at the last, after al, what the villain had done he/she required more of a closure. Otherwise loved the female lead, she was a great person unlike most of sydney sheldon's girls .She was extremely sorted and knew what she wanted.The other characters were also well written. Overall a good mystery

I did rad a few reviews , many say that it was not that great of a Sydney Sheldon book, but personally I loved reading the book it was really gripping from the start till the end. It was my first book that I started reading after a long break and to be honest loved every part of the book. The language was great and simple nothing complicated. But there was one thing that kind off got a little messy. I felt that more than the protagonist there was another character that was given the entire spotlight.Like the description and the plot specifies about the woman who sets to take the revenge on the ex-lover who betrayed her.But at the end when we look back, it's mostly about another character Sydney gives a great character build-up.Whom I felt was actually the protagonist. Nonetheless loved her character though. Despite all this it was a great read and recommend others to also give it a chance.

The book starts of in a suspense and creates a curiosity about the subject that had to be conveyed.Then it moves on to describe the protagonist .It starts off with her childhood then goes on to explain all the struggles she had to endure to get hold of she wanted to do.The different people who come across her path.Then her journey love and how that changes her as a person.As to how she looks at life changes.Everything in her life revolves around her love. On the whole she never had it easy since the beginning, she never got success without working her ass off for it.She was determined what she wanted and she always would give her 100 percent to achieve. Sydney Sheldon builds up a great plot ,keeps the reader engaged throughout the entire book without a point of boredom. He has pot-rayed the protagonist as a woman who can be the boss and also the woman who as fallen head over heals with a man. Even though she is strong and shrewd when it comes to business, she melts as soon as the topic is her love. A very good read, personally finished it in one reading.
