I owned Animal Crossing on the Nintendo GameCube many (many many) years ago and I remember sinking a lot of time into it. I was sceptical about the Switch version, mostly because I’m not a teenager anymore. There was no need to be worried, it is still the charming, addictive and pleasant game it always was.

I’ve read the mixed reviews from gaming journalists and critics alike, but I feel this will become an underrated and overlooked Switch game. It has its faults, but they are minor annoyances in an otherwise really enjoyable game.
