Reading Snow by John Banville was a journey through the world of Ireland and its ways of life in the 1950’s. The book was intriguing, interesting and at times poetic. I wasn’t expecting that for being a mystery; and yet indeed it was. The mystery starts from the beginning and dances around each one of the characters in the story. I kept guessing in my mind about the very intertwined solution. At the end, I was still puzzled, but delighted to have gone through such a mental journey.
