I think a lot of the other reviews are pretty harsh. Don’t go in expecting a super high quality thriller, but it was still a good watch. The acting was decent, especially with the main actress since she had to show a lot with just her expressions. Also, though it had some mild gore, it wasn’t overly disturbing. The plot was a little predictable and unbelievable, but I’m okay holding my disbelief for a movie. Sure, it’s more realistic the girl would just get kidnapped and tortured, but I don’t want to watch that. And, *minor spoiler ahead*, it’s more realistic that a cop would know how to protect himself, but that would have made the movie shorter and less exciting 🤷♀️ So yeah, it’s unrealistic but that makes for a better movie imo. Though the idea was a fresh one (her being paralyzed through most of the movie), the movie does follow a familiar formula. But I still found it gripping and entertaining, with a satisfying ending.
