I watched “Hell in the Pacific” on the Big Screen in a Broadway NYC theater when I was 18, 54 years ago..
I’ve never seen it on TV. That’s probably because half the flick is subtitled,, but acting so superb language is secondary.

Lee Marvin and Toshiro Mofuni, stuck on a Pacific island, share an enemy to friend relationship during WW2.
Anyway how enemies can become friends when necessity dictates cooperation, is ironically funny to me. That’s why I’ll give it 5 stars 5 decades later.
