I have been playing this game consistently since it was introduced to me since 2013 and have enjoyed this strategy based game to the point of encouraging my friends and coworkers to join in. Some have watched and disapproved; imagine a new player trying to understand a game and the whole team lets loose on them because league pairs us with people who cannot control the way they interact with others. It's like people come on this game to let loose their frustrations of the world on someone on the game who has their own problems and the funny part is there are people in the game who get treated unfairly in the game and because they go afk league of legends punishes them; myself included. Example: I'm playing an aram match (because I realize that summoner rift games are just about dealing with verbally abusive people) as Jhin, my team is in the winning position by a 20 kill margin vs the team we are playing against. Suddenly, I pick up a healing potion because my team is low on health and we are all close to the healing potion so everyone gets the effects, next thing I know I'm getting pinged alot and one player is insulting me because of picking a healing potion; I argue my case and in the process, I stopped playing the game for a while. Then another player sees this and accuses me of afking and the third player of my team accuses me of not coming close to the fights knowing I'm playing a ranged champion and could easily be killed first. I do my best to explain my case and instead I get afked on the screen and then later on after the game is done, I proceed to report all three players but I too get a penalty regardless of the fact that we won that game and I had to put up with offensive behaviour and language. This is just one of the examples of the many several incidents that have happened on this game. At first, I took this as a challenge to grow by understanding people's frustrations but I've learnt now that some people are just nuts and they do not care about their behaviour on the game and league of legends allows these ones to go unpunished. Today, I logged on to league of legends to play after a week of not playing the game only to see an agreement clause explaining that my behaviour in some of my games have been reported and they are attempting to secure the understanding that I somehow am at fault; I have attempted to defend myself and to point out people's behaviours on the game that affect my role in these games and this is what I get after so much investment of time and resources. No more I say, I am finally writing a review because I am done with this game and wish league of legends all the best in its endeavours.
