The forcefulness to push DEIB with this adaptation overshadowed the entire movie. I am all for inclusivity, and liked the twist for ethnicity of Pan and Tinkerbell. What I could not stand has already been addressed in depth in other reviews. Wendy is a shell of the character depth she has always had. Wendy isn't a storyteller. There is literally only one inuit character, Tigerlily, whom they turned into one of the lost boys. It just doesn't make sense. There is no explanation how or why she left her tribe. The plot is completely wrong. Not wrong in that it differs from the original or any other adaptation. Wrong because they kept just enough of the original to cause vast character flaws and loopholes.
If you grew up loving any of the adaptations, I highly suggest you pass on this one.
