I honestly think the negative feedback is ridiculous. If you are looking for Shakespearean prose or the writings of Hemmingway, Marvel and DC comics are not for you. Disney's adaptations are always going to have the troll posts or the "fanatic" take on the source material, whether its Marvel or Star Wars, the lower tier ratings are just forums for those heavily invested to complain. However, I would hardly call Ant-man 3 in leagues with the Infinity Saga or close to its predecessors quality but the MCU is hitting a weird spot, actors are retiring from the franchise and the storyline is building in a more prominent way versus "cameos" of the infinity stones. This movie is a good start to Phase 5 of the next chapter in the MCU. The buildup to Kang the Conqueror is heavy in this movie. There are moments that don't add up or plotlines added that are story "buffer" but overall this movie delivers on the real introduction to a Villain far more powerful than Thanos himself, while also showing his major weakness as a mortal man, who relies heavily on eons worth of technology to conquer the Multiverse. The only real shame is on Jonathon Majors for ruining his ability to play the villain in the future.
