The Wild Robot starts off a bit slow, especially in the first 15 minutes, which can feel like a drag. However, as the story progresses, it becomes engaging and heartfelt, ultimately weaving a compelling narrative. The emotional journey is further enhanced by the perfect song choice for the flying scene, which beautifully captures a sense of hope and freedom, lifting the viewer’s spirits. One aspect that felt slightly off was the robot’s character development. Initially, the robot is portrayed as a neutral entity, without emotions or personal connections, which fits well with its mechanical nature. Yet, by the end, the robot develops feelings toward its surroundings. While this shift brings emotional depth, it feels somewhat inconsistent with the original concept of a neutral machine. Despite this, the overall story is touching and leaves a lasting impact, making this movie a memorable experience.
