I rewatched all four seasons of Titans and reaffirmed that Raven is my favorite member of the Titans. It was very natural to identify with her since I saw the cartoon “Teen Titans”, but the version of the DC series on Netflix made me relate even more to Rachel / Raven.
Personal opinion: For me, Raven is the strongest and most original of all the Titans (yes, I hated Starfire, it leaves a lot to be expected), I would have liked them to focus a little more on Rachel's story.
Of the 4 seasons my "favorite" I have to admit that it is the last one, despite the errors and some confusion in the episodes, it was the one that connected and clarified certain things from the first 3 seasons. The series finale was "okay" but not amazing and I have to say the series finale left me with an "if only this happened or if only they did it like this". But overall, I really enjoyed watching Titans... Regardless, he admitted that it will always have a place in my top 5 best Netflix/DC series I've ever watched.
Psdt: In addition to the confusion in some chapters throughout the series, the effects that were sometimes boring due to the lack of quality, the lack of integration of Gard and Starfire in almost the entire series, the unnecessary filler death of Jinx, the end of the series that left many expectations of something better being a DC series. What really outraged me and which is something that I will never forgive Netflix as DC, is that Raven and Gard have not ended up together after 4 seasons with several moments showing the beautiful and incredible connection between both characters. He was sorry but to hell with Robin and Starfire's relationship and their happy ending, let's admit that we all wanted to see Raven and Gard as a couple after 4 seasons, but hey DC didn't know how to take advantage of the fact that Raven and Gard had the level of being for a long time time the main couple of the series but well ...
Although the "hint" was very clear to me that if they ended up together at the end of the series in secret (Christmas scene) it would have been great if they said it while everyone was having dinner.
It was a shame not to have included a moment so expected by all of us who watched the series, and we realized their great connection.
Now I understand much more why "Titans" was cancelled, because it is true that sometimes it is better to leave good series with an ending to the discretion of the public's imagination. What to keep ruining the entire plot of a series that has enough potential to be a worldwide hit. 😋😚
