Good movie, but it really should have been called 'Sean Connery and the Last Crusade' and the poster sport the tagline ' featuring good-guy-going-through-the-motions-Harrison-Ford as his sidekick Indiana Jones in the greatest comedy of our time'...
To me, Ford was in this one pretty much the same he was in Return of the Jedi, kinda done with it and just waiting for something new and more interesting to come along next. I don't like the fact the hero was used mostly as comic-relief. Especially in that god awful and completely useless 'No tickets' scene.
Tank scene was great, though. Felt like Raiders all of a sudden.
I know the thumbs down is too harsh, for it is my least favorite of the 4 by a long shot, but I still saw it thousands of time (saw it 18 times at the theatre during its original run alone, so...) and appreciate alot of things in it.
