Hi everybody 👋🏽I found this Shonda Rhimes production somewhat disappointing. It was told in a confusing and superficial way. However, I still give it a three stars because of the great acting.
Even though I found Anna Chumlski’scharacter completely annoying at times. Believable sometimes. Unrealistic as well. It was good seeing her again.
As a 65 yr old black woman the biggest disappointment is that Ms. Rhimes never addressed the elephant in the room. White Privlege. It was there. Had this had been anybody but a young white woman would this have happened?!
I don’t normally play the race card but come on.
I didn’t like the way “Neff” got away with calling Rachel names and Rachel out of anger doesn’t fire back!
I agree with the people that say no real heroes or real villains.
Having said that I didn’t buy into the whole poor Anna narrative. True, if it had been a white man at Anna’s age or any age, for that matter the verdict would have been a lot different. But if it’s true she pushed the limits with that judge that could also explain her harshness in her sentence of Anna.
The attack on Rachel by Ms. Rhimes and Netflix was disgusting. They did a straight up hit job on her. It doesn’t matter that AMEX forgave most of the debt eventually. It wasn’t like that in the beginning. Long story straight I’m team Rachel and Nora (remember poor Nora and$400k)! Even if they got their money back they were victims of this psycho. Anna will never change.
Anna betrayed everybody she ever met. I believe she a sociopath.
Now it comes to me. Why did I watch this. Because in the beginning I thought it would be people like the Trumps or the Paris Hilton’s or some super rich Arabs etc. Not people like Rachel, Kacy, and Neff. In the long run I realize nobody deserves to be betrayed like this.
Thank you for this platform 😀I feel better now having got that off my chest.🥰
