Finally a coming of age story that explores what it's actually like being a girl growing up. I'm Scottish and even I related SO MUCH to this movie. Her drawing the pictures and having her first crush was totally me when I was 12 and drooling over Link from Legend of Zelda hahahaha 😂 a brilliant, cringe worthy, totally realistic scenario and it's so important for young kids to understand that it's all part of growing up, the daydreams, the struggle of parent-children relationships, friendships.. Everything. This movie was amazing thank you pixar!! A colourful lighthearted treat, with beautiful pastel animation that I adored.
