Straw had "pros" and "cons" like can be said about most movies. Pros - it does a good job of illustrating many of the hurdles of poor people in America. From lack of quality healthcare, to inflexible work environments, the poor, working poor, and people just trying to "get by" go through so much. It did a good job of tying in the impact of these situations to mental health and mental illness, illustrating how one main event can be the "straw" that breaks the camel's back (or your connectedness to reality). Cons - some of it felt too unrealistic, like the scene in the bank where she casually kept messing with what appeared to be a b0mb. The law enforcement lead characters seemed too "out of touch" from what they where to how they approached the crisis unfolding before them.
