It's been such a long time since I've truly enjoyed a show and when I first clicked on this one I did not expect it to turn out to now be one of my top shows.
This show so heartfelt, nostalgic, weird, relatable, and hilarious (like this is the first show I've died from laughter watching) all at once. Both of the main characters never miss a comedic or emotional beat and act amazingly believable as middle schoolers. The script and flow of each episode are so well done and crafted in a humorously realistic way.
So many of the themes of adolescence that are touched on in each episode are things I didn't even realize had such an influential impact on who I am and how I think now as an adult. Looking back now its crazy to be reminded of all the little things that happened in my childhood that I forgot.
All in all, if you didn't grow up in the early 2000s this show might be a little confusing for you, but if you are older and looking for a new comedic, genuinely heartfelt show that takes on a completely new concept on looking back on childhood, I highly recommend this one.
