Let me be honest here, if you love TVD and TO and actually have some standards you’ll be disappointed in Legacies. The first season starts alright, although there is an overuse in the slowmo effect. But as it goes on there is so much repetition. Landon dies and comes back so many times death doesn’t even mean anything anymore. There is no variation in villains; it’s just always monsters, monsters, monsters. It’s cringe worthy and generic. There’s a “monster of the week” and “every fairytale is true” format. They could’ve developed this view of the magical/supernatural world by actually developing the monsters and their backstories like with the sirens in TVD. However they’ve completely failed and Legacies has been an utter disappointment compared to the standards TVD and TO created. Don’t recommend watching.
