Classic fun fm late 80s, fun for all family

2 stars, if u enjoy independant filmakers getting their feet wet, it is a decent ride 1st half, then gets muddled in 2nd half with distracting subplots of Alien and Friday 13th, bad soap opera ripoffs, combined. Actors u recognize do their jobs, but some not known, still a work in progress. Special effects done reasonably well, the ending easliy predicted, and then zap, credits roll, another 30 seconds focusing on central character then highly appreciated. Why not R rated, not sure.
