Sinners in a nutshell - it was a slow movie. I can appreciate a film where the beginning (30-40 minutes) is setting the scene, introducing a couple of characters and etc but I still found the movie very slow paced even when the party starts. Overall, setting the scene was perfectly fine - some nice cinematography. When the vampires got involved it did feel strange. The storyline was lacking flow or have any relevance to the music which I thought was a big part of the movie. If anything, the most interesting part of the movie was the last 10-15 minutes seeing Michael b Jordan shoot multiple men (the Klan) because it was the most interesting action part of the film. Was quite disappointed and I’m convinced viewers who gave it a 5 star review are massive Michael b Jordan fanboys/girls.
