Movie was a let down. In times of Marvellous spectacles like Endgame and every other superhero movies these days , we've come to expect a lot . Special effects were on par but the plot was mediocre and the dialogues were extremely corny and predictable!! Could have been so much better with standard writing. The multiple Oscar nominee cast couldn't do much to improve the script even though they tried their hardest. I still can't decide if I like Sophie Turner as Jean Grey - she sometimes delivers tremendously and sometimes makes you cringe. Jennifer Lawrence is so done with playing a minor role in an ensemble. Charles Xavier is tiresome but Magneto is still as awesome as ever . Do not expect much from the movie- certainly not on level with the beloved Brian Singer movies we grew up with ! 2.5 /5

Just watched this movie and I loved it ! Good strong plot , takes you completely by surprise ! Gets across a very important message . Employed black humour beautifully which is rare in an Indian movie . Certainly some plotholes like her reconciling with her rapists etc. Adi Balan does a job as Aruvi and makes you fall for the underdog . Amazing supporting cast . Made me both laugh and cry!! 4/5
