I'm wondering if I was actually watching the same show as everyone else on here with the 5 star reviews. I thought it was terrible. The first couple episodes were ok, I am familiar with Harlan Coben series and am ready for all of the unbelievable twists turns and connections. But this series just went too far in that regard. So insanely unreal that it lost any fun I can usually find in the series. Also the character of Mickey is such an idiot I just hated every scene with him. I hate these child characters that just go in to every situation all ablaze like they are the only one that can do anything, but then don't actually have any good ideas. Such a whiny one-track character. It's hard to enjoy a show when you hate the lead. And without getting into detail on the ridiculousness of pretty much every scenario in the story line, the whole Ashley/Mickey Bond was the worst. You meet her, talked to her for 10 minutes, have loads of photos together in your phone, and decide it's up to you to do whatever necessary to find her when she doesn't show up to your date and then school. Like who would care?? Wouldn't the average person think she just wasnt interested in the date and is now missing school for a reason that is none of your business? Get a life. I hated this so much. I finished it bc i invested time watching the first few episodes but really wish I gave up rather than seeing it through.. The only thing that made it at all bearable were Spoon and Ema but even their characters were made ridiculous by the end. And who cares your mom is famous?? Ugh move on
