Vaguely entertaining with none of the climax. This movie was as flat as a sheet of paper. The cinematography was something to be adored but that's it. The storyline was dull and lacked oomph. I read the book and was hoping for more. The single scene that had the potential to pull me in simply didn't. It was actually minimized in a bad way. Read the book, I promise it's better.

Most reviews I've read state that this movie is just bad. Well, we are comparing it to the original. To what scared us when we were younger. Well I'm here to inform you that no remade movie is going to live up to the hype we've placed on the original. Now, with that being said, this is great for the generation just now being exposed to the Hellraiser franchise. The cenobites are well done and Pinhead is great for the audience of today. I enjoyed it and will definitely be watching again.
