Here's the thing... as a theater buff you will enjoy it if you're "into this sort of thing." It was better on stage, a bit disconcerting on screen, and gratuitous at times. That said, if you're quarantined and into stage musicals, movie musicals, and quirky cult classics, you'll likely be very entertained. Not for everyone, but not a hard pass.
