This film is NOT a PG comedy/family film. The initial concept was hard to figure out for about 20 minutes. Even our 11 & 13 year olds didn't get it. It's about an injury incurred by a soldier & his mental stability following a war injury and being saddled with a dog that was also unstable. A lot of fowl language (not over the top) but not what younger children need to hear as being acceptable. A scene with two women that made us feel it was going to lead to a sex scene. It was supposed to be spiritual but implied otherwise at first. He also left the dog tied in the truck for longer times & let it bark a great deal. Not an example of how to treat an animal or the neighbours. Would not take anyone under 17 or 18 years old to see it.
