Hands down the worst and most disappointing Pokémon game I have ever played missing millions of content and I think this game was made for the unborn. The game is a complete and utter cash grab preying on the low iq subgroup of Pokemon fans out there. With all the wonderful music of Pokemon, somehow literally NONE of it is included in this game. Common sense would have any experienced gamer expect at least decent atmospheric environmental music in the background as you explore. No, utterly nothing notable plays to accompany your adventure. This is genuinely just the start, I will be writing forever if I dive into each issue like I have in the text above. I will list them: 1. Terrible landscapes, with little to no thought of creativity to them. 2. Battle mechanics are Pokemon style, but lazily done and refuse to build on the original style. Palworld is far superior in this aspect, as well as several others I will outline shortly. 3. Available moves in the game are greatly diminished. The animation coolness/effort put into them varies wildly. Some are straight up duplicate moves with just colours changed. 4. Palworld rivals Ark survival evolved in terms of variety of mounts you can have and how different mounts alter your experience of the game. This game gives u a handful of pokemon that you can magically appear sitting onto (or under, why tf are we hand gliding our flying pokemon? The characters are straight up mega npc idiots. No way that a village could exist that is inhabited by the characters in this game. They all act so un human like in what they say, do (or don’t do) that they are completely unlikeable universally, no matter who is playing the game lol. I got so disappointed with the game so frequently that I ended up successfully predicting where upcoming bits of the game would disappoint me- because it’s consent easy stuff you would expect from the first entry of a bold new genre of Pokemon game. Tldr: fuck this game and whoever made it. A studio so greedy, talentless and disrespectful of their audience deserves jail time collectively. Final note: if this comment interested you, I genuinely suggest you play the game yourself and realise when I say that I’d be writing forever, I mean you could basically write a 400 page book on how shit so many aspects of this game are. Play it to understand what I mean, then return it
