i watch a lot of comedies and mr mayor is a pretty basic average sitcom. it’s not bad of course, especially if you just want to watch a show thats simple, silly, and entertaining. i love smart sitcoms like parks and rec, the good place, or community that have perfect comedic timings, running gags, etc. mr mayor may not have these (yet, this show is still relatively new so) and there isn’t really much to say about the depth of the characters since everything we’ve been shown so far has been pretty surface level, but it’s still a good show. it’s simple, silly, and entertaining. sure mr mayor is basic as hell, but thats not really a bad thing.
