I was so excited to see this show. Finally, the two together will be a fierce crime fighting duo. Taking down bad guys together. Ziva, a strong lethal badass and Tony a goofy but witty old movie referenced clever smart ass. Together at last. The love affair of the decade…. The very developed history of the making. Come on it’s Tony and Ziva……. And then episode one…. Ziva, a broken weakling and Tony as an idiot. Not married. Not together. And so many flash backs of who gives a crap. Did the writers forget everything Ziva and Tony has gone through? Did they forget their love story? If you are using the NCIS series with the same characters, labeling the “spin off” as a continuation of those characters. Then DON’T change those characters. The majority of viewers were excited to see Tony and Ziva as they were from NCIS. The history they had, the history we all knew and loved. I am very disappointed and after 2 episodes I have left the viewing range for this show. Was a huge disappointment. As for others with the swearing as a problem, I didn’t notice. I was trying to figure out why the show is called NCIS Tony and Ziva when they are clearly not THE Tony and Ziva from NCIS. The characters are completely different. Not just with the couple story line but who they were as agents/people/couple. I’d be surprised if there is a season 2.
