The story is quite good, but do you remember that scene in scary movie where the girl has to choose between a hand granade, a gun, a knife and a banana, and she picks the banana. Well, the entire first season (at least, I abandoned it after s01) is a constant repeat of all the worst choices people make in poor scripted TV. You find yourself constantly thinking, why would anyone in their right mind do that? Basically just poorly scripted so that the story moves on without too much thinking on it.
