You probably ended up in the reviews section because you’ve been let down by Marvel Studios over the last few years and just want to know what people think… Well that was me, I went in with low expectations and left at the movie satisfied. Was it Oscar worthy? Maybe not but it was entertaining. Story wise it was gripping, I love the 60s type vibe, we don’t dwell much on how they became the F4 which is also great. The story constantly flows throughout and there was never a dull moment. I was invested. Cast wise, they all gelled well in their own right. No one really stood out as a wow factor but the ensemble cast worked. Galactus - Finally done justice on screen look wise, kind of wish we saw him destroy more planets and the reactions to him destroying their planet. That’d make him super duper villain you know? The Future - As someone who loved the early years of Marvel Studios movies but turned off in recent years this movie does leave me wanting more. I know we’ll see more of the F4 in sequels and Avengers movies. A big question I always ask myself is would I watch the movie again? The answer is yes I would.

I’m relatively new to the world of John Wick movies (only started watching them just before the last movie was released) and I found that this movie on par to those movies and quite a treat to watch. The story itself was compelling from start to finish with no boring/dull moments. I was invested in the main character and her journey for revenge throughout. Loved it and would watch it again in a heartbeat. If you’re on the fence with a spin off off movie or don’t have any knowledge of the JW movies don’t worry this movie is worth watching. Solid 9.5 for me.

Wasn’t expecting much going into this movie but it was entertaining from the get go and I was invested all the way through. Acting was excellent and very believable throughout. A few surprises here and there. I suspect AI will get like this one day which is a scary thought. Definitely a movie to rewatch.

I’ve been watching the same format but from 3 different countries on Netflix (Fight For Paradise, Don’t hate the player and the US version Surviving Paradise) This version has a little bit of strategy compared to FFP. It’s ok but wouldn’t say it’s great, I wouldn’t watch it again. If you love reality shows this might interest you but honestly it could be missed. My biggest gripe - The premise of the show really has no fair way to end up in paradise. You get lucky, you could be up there for days or a week. What is needed if they ever do the show again - There needs to be daily/per episode challenges so the balance of power constantly changes. How about a challenge per episode where an insider vs an outsider and whoever wins goes to the villa (and becomes an insider) One person nearly stayed the whole time in the villa while others did it rough. This game just doesn’t know what to be, it feels like there’s no rules and what games is very lop sided.

I was looking for a new show to watch so I gave The Secret of the Greco Family a go on Netflix a go, only 9 episodes so it’s a quick watch. Essentially a modern day Robin Hood where the poor preys on the rich and is loosely based on true events from the mid 80’s. The story is summed up with the males in the family who kidnap the rich and hold them ransom for money. Very daunting and thrilling, I didn’t want to stop watching this show once I had started. The acting was on point from all the cast which made the show very believable and scary at the same time. It makes you think how would you handle or or do if you were in this situation. You know a show is good when you try and research the true family and those that died.
