This is absolutely geared towards a young generation and they really slow down the zombies and there is little to no blood and violence. Honestly the acting during zombie struggles is just ridiculously unbelievable. I do love that the cast is so diverse but I also feel like it is a bit forced. While I find the show moves at a decent pace I simply found the 4 key characters hard to connect to. There are many scenes where I find the little speeches and "touching" moments to be ingenuine and too cheesy. Not to mention the acting is horrible from a select few. Iris possibly being the worst but also the father, the colonel, percy anf elden. I absolutely cant believe these kids are so weak. It is very frustrating to watch. So many plot holes and timeline flaws. I do enjoy the scientific storyline of them trying to find out why people turn. Unfortunately the facilities and costumes for all the troops are very unrealistic. Also when we get into season 2 there is an explanation of events at the end of each episode. They do not contain any more insight than the episode obviously portrayed. The next episode starts with a recap so I dont see the point of this. I found it irritating and started skipping over it.
