A masterpiece done by director Maniratnam which is called "cult classic " still now. Nayakan was the inspiration for many other gangsters film in Kollywood and other. The film was a total work . The film is still now celebrated for one reason KAMAL HAASAN and MANIRATNAM because they where lifting tomb for the film. Kamal haasan did a mind blowing performance how he does in his all films. And Maniratnam's screenplay, writing, direction was on another level. The other cast and crew done their job very well. Overall it is a pride of indian and tamil cinema. Isai nyani Ilayaraja gave one of his best music for this film. My Rating 10/10

Based on a biography book simply fly it was a magic by sudha kongora and powerful acting from sir suriya and all cast. good music done by gv Prakash .maximum biography film will be like a documentary but it was not like that.Only worry is we can't watch this precious film in big screen... Rating: 9.3/10
