This is an amazing book to read if you want to learn how to stay positive, productive, and composed in your life. I liked it because author Hitendra Wadhwa sir not only focused on the human's psychological side but the book also discussed how to master one's inner core from a spiritual perspective. In this book, the author tells us why you need to control your mind in spiritual aspects and I feel so much resonating with it.
Do you know Leadership starts with our own control of our mind and body? We need to be free from our regular habitual modes of notion, beliefs, pondering, and confining personality traits, we must not be driven by ego or inferiority but our commitment should be to our purpose.
In his impeccably simple language and moving writing style, professor Wadhwa takes us on the journey of some people, and their situations. Here, you will hear not only well-known characters but a lot of unknown, ordinary person's life stories, their struggle, their strength, and when they got the mantra of success and how they took those teachings from their daily life. Each story is intense and inspiring and the author with his words discusses these from their psychological and spiritual side and their effect on our life. I liked how the author aligned science and spirituality.
In his words he says: On the surface, there’s not much in common between these people and you. They lived in different times, played different roles, and likely had different personalities from you. And yet if you expand your thinking about them, you will see that they were, like you and me, on a human journey.
In this book, the author exhibited the Inner Mastery, and Outer Impact journeys of five famous inspiring figures from history: Eleanor Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and Gandhi.
A very well-crafted, well-researched, and balanced writing of spirituality and science of psychology. This book has a very smooth flow of writing and is well detailed, it mentioned the problems and how to master them in a very easy manner. Sometimes it falls too slow because of the heavy detailing of the analysis, and the collection of stories but the author keeps the reader gravitated in and in the end, it's worth reading.
