This movie is so darn good. FYI it's a Japanese movie so get ready for subtitles. To make it short, this movie is getting excellent reviews because they achieved to make something so grand by keeping everything simple. The CGI isn't that great, but in this case, it totally works. CGI can be overdone and it can be difficult to follow and watch because so many things are happening on the screen. Godzilla Minus One scales back on the CGI and the result, an excellent movie. The characters and acting are great also. The score and sound design are legendary 9.8/10.

One of the best films I've ever seen. The Cinematography, score, screenplay, and acting are all terrific. The movie is a bit on the long side but it doesn't drag at all. FYI, this movie has nothing to do with jail or the penal system. The only downside of this film was the casting of Terrence Howard. They should have found someone else but it doesn't take away from the movie at all. Special shout-out to Hugh Jackman's performance.
