Yes, this film takes a position on abortion. It also makes the argument that evil exists and that it is manifest by the abortion industry. Those who were put off by this films premise and gave it one star are precisely the reason why it needed to be made. They are probably the same folks that would give the film The Sound of Freedom one star.
Like it or not, the world is in trouble. Just like this film The Seventh Sign and The Sound of Freedom, Nefarious brings current truths to the forefront of our consciousness. Less than 1% of what comes out of Hollywood isn't the glorification of deviant, vulgar behavior and lifestyles. Ironically, you don't hear criticism of the "pushing" of the "alternate lifestyles" instead you hear celebration by the deviates who advocate it.
If Nefarious offends you, why? Because it rings of morality and Christianity? And for those of you that have fooled yourself into believing you can be a Christian while advocating abortion, you're unequivocally wrong. Imagine yourself making that absurd argument to Christ.
If you want to blast the movie because you despise the premise of the screenplay, make that disclosure before you make such ridiculous criticisms of the acting, screen set, script, etc. This film obviously doesn't seem to be gunning for any Hollywood accolades or awards. That is why the overwhelming percentage of "talent" in Hollywood wouldn't touch this script (that says it all).
For that reason, I accept this film for what I believe it was intended to be; a clarion call to the atrocities that are committed daily in the absurd name of "A woman's Right To Choose."
