Right off the top, this is a badly written and badly directed movie. The main characters lack substance, since they aren't introduced very well, nor do they really get much development over the course of the story. The supporting characters are worse, to the point you can tell the actors were struggling at times to nail down just who their characters were supposed to be outside of overly exaggerated stereotypes. The plot is distractingly illogical and was clearly written to maximize action over common sense. On the plus side, the visuals are quite adequate, with detailed cg model designs, although the overall look is reminecent reminiscent of a PS3/4 era sci-fi shooter. That said, I think this movie pretty much plays out like a very expensive videogame cutscene compilation and you'd do just about as well to watch an abridged playthrough of your favorite action game on YT as to watch this.
