the writing felt excruciatingly slow. it was descriptive and lyrical , but because i wasn't really into the plot from the beginning, it felt like i was being dragged through the story. a solid 3 star review from me had it not been for the ending. but i appreciate the work the author has put in. satisfactory read overall.
