I’m surprised by the low rating? Completely disagree! It’s 2021! The fact that it’s not the same old tired delicate patriarchal storyline! The music was more in line with this century and so much catchier. The evil stepmother had more depth to her character than just blindly hating a child solely because she didn’t push it. The helper mice were adorable! Fairy godmother being a godfather was funny, idk overall enjoyed this movie quite a bit. The king and queen’s relationship was realistic. I normally hate movies based on Cinderella, sleeping beauty etc etc but this was refreshing. Great for a one time watch!
