*No Spoilers* - This series isn’t 5 stars more 3 or 4 but I just wanted to boost the ratings due to peoples lack of understanding for the motive of this series as I too didn’t understand it at first. This is a clever twist on a thriller parody but if that isn’t for you then I wouldn’t bother watching. By episode 3 I found myself Googling “The woman in the house blah blah - bad acting” because I love Kristen Bell and had no idea what on earth was going on with this production. The top article cleared this up entirely, there is an interview with Kristen specifically stating how the entire cast had to keep shooting and practising on how to be bad at acting because this is the point of the parody series. There are so many times you will watch and think oh my god you have to be kidding me because some crazy and unrealistic twist or plot point is unveiled and you thought you were on the right track, but by remembering that this is a parody of a thriller series you find yourself just going with it and having a lil chuckle. I do wish they would have made it clear somehow at the start it was a parody so I could have enjoyed it properly from the beginning. Overall the story is compelling, the actors charming in there own ways, you’ll still be trying to solve the mystery right there along side Anna but just remember whenever something seems completely far fetched it was meant to be like that.
