The scenes are beautifully shot and the characters were introduced such to quickly immerse the viewer in the struggle of the 1860s West.

Revolving around historical events, the placement of a footnote character as the fulcrum is absolute genius. Compelling story lines, excellent acting and high impact action scenes have resulted in one of the most engrossing series I have had the pleasure of viewing. History, swords, intrigue. Amazing!
