I never stopped screaming at the TV. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I had to stop in the middle because I realized I hadn’t been breathing. Adam Sandler’s acting was so good. He deserved an Oscar. And I am a fan of his other movies, but this was great. When it’s over, you felt like you had run a marathon. I highly recommend it.

SPOILER ALERT: It was only OK. The first 2/3 were extremely slow. I’m not a prude, but we really didn’t need to see him walking through the sex club. He could’ve just said he likes to frequent them. Same thing with the woman in his apartment; they could’ve shown her just putting on her coat and leaving - we would’ve known what had just happened. It all seemed very gratuitous. A smart woman like her would have not had sex with someone who is accused of murder, much less someone she is representing. Also, all of the meetings would have taken place at the office. I don’t know any lawyer that makes house calls. The ending was predictable because of the hatred of the mother and brother being so intense. The only thing that surprised me were the layers on the picture over the bed. But it seriously could be a lifetime movie if you just blur out the nudity. Also, If he can only make the elevator go down by someone inside pushing the button, he would have had to go outside by the stairway all the time. And then how would he get back up? At least people didn’t have crazy wigs on like they did in other TP movies. If Madea had shown up that would have been less predictable.
