Wow, am I glad I DVR'd this late night movie and I recommend you watch this on a DVD so you can rewind and review different scenes. Also, read a little about the plot on Wikipedia first so you understand what is going on, and come back for more clarification as the movie progresses. This movie has a lot going on and you are sure to miss something if you don't do this. I rewound scenes multiple times so we could understand what was happening and talk about it. This is as good a psychological thriller as the best of them, like Silence of the Lambs, Manhunter, etc. Robin Williams is absolutely chilling as the crime book writer / twisted killer. He seems so meek, but you know what his reality actually is. Al Pacino as the detective is right, this guy is a serial killer in the making. The movie also has a "Twin Peaks" feel to it which was a real treat‼️
