Honestly if there was one thing I absolutely LOVED abt the book was Hayden..he's so sweet. I felt kinda bad for him..He was the main reason I liked the book. I felt things ended up kinda unfair for him..and he was still so calm and loving.. As u can see, Im the type of person who needs the main character(unless they're the antagonistic) to be a character I like for me to like the book I have to say I dont really like Mel's close friend..I forgot all their names now..the one whose shes super close with..like how she mouths to mel about her boyfriend "hes just mad cuz I like u more than him" or "make yourself useful and put those bags there" "he did, hes like that" honestly if I were that boy I would've dumped her, I liked the bf too btw I also liked trey I liked the therapist in the end.. I even thought the bf who died seemed like a nice person That's about everyone I liked in the book I also loved the style of writing..that's another reason that kept me reading Oh, and that joke where the security guard says I've a 'Mel' here and she rolls her eyes..that got me laughing so hard. But that's about it..honestly if they treated her best friends boyfriend and Hayden better I would have said much better abt this book But this is just my opinion..Despite what I think, I believe there is so much depth u could get and learn..u might really love this book, ESPECIALLY someone suffering from a loss But personally all those didnt affect ME too much..I just felt kinda bad for the two boys

A wonderfully written book.. A couple of minor details.. I feel Phoenix's possessiveness for Lennon accelerated a little much, too much for his original character.. Next (I didn't exactly understand the end) but I feel a little sad as (I think) he gives up his career for Lennon..again a little too much for his character.. Also it was never stated that Lennon forgave Phoenix..she was so strong she wouldn't..it could have been better if more was written on her forgiving him.. This is expected in A.Jade's writing..but also personally I feel..the cursing and sexuality in her writing a lot too much for me..(I often find myself skimming through pages).. of course this is expected Nevertheless.. despite these details, there are MANY amazing things along with it..it keeps u in the edge of your seat the whole read..the style of writing really made me feel everything in the book as if real.. it also didn't have much unnecessary details a long with SO many other reasons why this is an amazing book really deserves 5 stars!!! It's the FIRST book to ever read that I wished would never end(for real).. 👌🏻

The book was AMAZING!!! Beautifully and professionally written..the story line was REALLY engrossing.. and it had me FILLED with curiosity. As a person who normally had a hard time reading..when I started to read 'The Last Stage' it was hard to stop. Just one small personal dislike was the ending. It was sad and unrealistic. Caitlyn, an old happy friend of Meredith, gets mental seeing Meredith kiss her girlfriend Samantha causing her to get mental with rage and wanting to get back at Meredith. It's not said clearly why but she changed her name to Catherine in the present. I honestly really liked the character Caitlyn..I understand that loosing someone u love could be heartbreaking but it seems a bit unrealistic that such a sweet character like Caitlyn would turn mental and so cruel for this matter. I also even wished for Graeme to end up with Catherine..he really seemed to love her..and I felt sorry that both Graeme and Catherine had to die. I would have much preferred if the character Catherine was replaced with Samantha. I didn't like that character at all! She was really selfish and treated Meredith extremely badly and it also seemed a bit unrealistic that after all Samantha did to her, Meredith forgave her in the end. Anyways, that was just a personal opinion..still worth 5 stars..still many other wonderful things to expect, still an AWESOME book..Anyone of u should definitely try it..you might not feel the same as me about the ending. Overall thank you Louise for giving this great experience. You're a very talented writer:)
