I really invested in the story of these two mis-matched characters. The acting, the setting and the narrative arc were well judged. My only disappointment was that she had a shallow relationship with a woman: there are not enough positive lesbian relationships onscreen in general, and one reading (not intended, I donโt think) of the ending could imply that heterosexual relationships are the only way forward romantically.
